Questions
How much do Delo couriers earn per delivery?
Each delivery pays a fee based on the trip, plus any tip and any busy-hour bonus. The app shows the exact total on the offer, before you accept, so you always know what a job pays.
Do I keep my tips?
Yes. 100% of every tip goes to you.
When do I get paid?
Every Tuesday for the week before, or daily once you are owed €20. You choose in the Earnings tab.
Can I get paid straight away?
Yes. You can cash out any time from €10 to a debit card. The fee is shown before you confirm.
Am I paid for waiting at a shop?
Yes. If a shop keeps you waiting more than 5 minutes after you arrive, you are paid 20 cent a minute, up to €6 a delivery.
Does turning down a job affect my pay?
No. Declining an offer never counts against you: not your pay and not the offers you get.
Do I pay tax on my earnings?
You deliver as a self-employed courier, so Delo does not deduct tax or PRSI. You declare your earnings to Revenue, and you can download statements from the app.
